Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and was also the first gymnast to earn three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles as well as her siblings Adria and Ronald Biles were adopted as children by the grandparents of Houston. Simone began to be interested in gymnastics when she was just 6. The coach Aimee Borman brought her to Bannon's Gymnastix and they took them on a field trip. Biles won a gold medal in vault, as well as a gold medal on the floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began playing in elite levels of the sport. Within less than two years, she was the best in her sport.
