Sharp was born and raised in Rochester (New York) and was a fervent student of the world of music. At the Hochstein School of Music, she studied cello, clarinet as well as piano. After gaining a scholarship at The Boston Conservatory because of her passion for school theater, Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude, where she was awarded the B.F.A. Sharp determined to make a move into theater after completing her Cum Laude degree with an B.F.A. Sharp appeared in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatrical shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp is engaged in several projects of her own that include screenplays as well as productions. She continues to sing, and is currently working on a full-length album in production. Sharp is a fitness enthusiast and stays in great condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp reside in Los Angeles, California with her family.
