Beth Hart

Beth Hart is a Los Angeles native and blues-singing singer from rock. She performed on the streets and began her career with Immortal in the year 1995. Her outspoken, raw personality, musicianship and emotion-filled live shows attracted attention. Chuck Taylor wrote that Hart was "the embodiment of natural women" in the October 2nd, 1999 issue of Billboard magazine. Hart is "bawdy and amusing, friendly and wild in her preference for a smoky words. It's not what she's really good at. She's a graceful, tall, elegant singer/songwriter who struts and squalls songs with the energy and vigor that is Mick Jagger . Other occasions, she is on the piano or the at the center stage with no pretension. Her legs are crossed on the edge of the chair and she talks in a delicate, pained voice. "Drawing emotions like this since the time she appeared on stage to compete in amateur contests as young teenagers, Hart nonetheless experienced misgivings about the business side of music when her career finally started to grow.
